I think food, culture, people, and landscape are all absolutely inseparable.
— Anthony Bourdain

After attending college at Lehigh University and a quick year in London, I returned to my favorite city, Chicago, and got really hungry. My first writing gig was with Chicago Redeye, where I wrote about the emerging craft beer trend and how to navigate the underground dining scene.

A decade later, I’m still writing about about food and drinks that make us stop and say, “Damn, that was delicious.” Most recently I was the managing editor of October. My words have also appeared on Epicurious, Eater, Zagat, Munchies, Liquor.com, Chicago Magazine, Michigan Avenue Magazine, Men's Book, CS, Sophisticated LivingTime Out Chicago, Tales of the Cocktail and Chicagoist.

When I’m not writing, I am the founder of SAUCED Night Market.
